Shop Small Shop Local This Christmas

Don’t get us wrong, we all love the convenience of one that one click purchase function on Amazon and impending next day delivery of potential useless tat that we don’t need. But wouldn’t it be nice to shop more locally and smaller this year from businesses who put their heart and soul into their brands and deliver just as good of a service? Not to mention buying something specially curated for a loved one that you know they’ll enjoy much more?

Shopping from small businesses this year could make someone’s day, or even better put food on the table. That’s surely a better feeling than funding a somebody’s eighth holiday home?

Bull Solutions has always been proud to support local, being a small business in South Wales ourselves, it’s so important to us to advocate for others. We’re like a cult / small team of hard-working humans doing what we love! We also have a fixed pricing solution for small businesses who want to make a splash online and get some more awareness or sales. Take a look at our standard brochure website pricing here . We can go much bigger than that, so please get in touch if you have any bespoke requirements – we’re happy to help.

For now, we’re going to share some of our favourite small businesses and why we love them so much.

1.     This is a firm favourite of our Director, Katie. Scamp and Dude. They’re a multi award winning clothing company who are now even listed in Liberty and Selfridges. They have an important brand message and do a fantastic job in partraying this through their social channels and email marketing. Look out for their amazing outfits for the little people in your life too.

2.     We couldn’t write a top 5 without including one of our lovely clients! Sally at The Pencil Case in Cowbridge is so hard-working. Throughout the various lockdowns, she worked her butt off to add over 3000 products to her online shop and her new website goes live in a week or two. Top work Sally and team!

3.     We promise this isn’t an article about our Director, Katie’s shopping habits. But another of her favourites is World Secrets, making happy shoes and accessories inspired by the colours of the world. With an out of this world studio based in sunny Devon, it’s easy to see where a lot of the inspiration comes from. Take a look at their Instagram, you could get lost in it!

4.     There are a massive amount of artists and creators all over the UK and we love to browse Etsy occasionally to check out the latest trends. Liz from Slow Sunday Studio is an amazing artist from Bristol designing print, original artworks and gifts. Her latest is a kid’s collection which are so colourful and tell wonderful stories.

5.     East End Press is also giving us all the feels this festive season with beautiful and colourful bits and bobs for your home. Have you put the decs up early this year?
