Bull Solutions delivers new 24/7 patient website for Pen-y-Bont Health

Our latest website project has gone live, a new patient self-help hub for client Pen-y-Bont Health (PYB).

The new website has been developed with the aim of making professional healthcare advice more accessible to patients.  The brief – to provide patients with the support and information they need to improve and manage their own health, when they need it. provides information on common illness do’s and don’ts, childhood complaints and health and well-being topics including stopping smoking and diet and exercise.

Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the website extends patient care beyond surgery hours.  Over 60,000 patients can access accurate and reliable information they can trust at the click of a button.

The website launch event, held at the Heronston Hotel on the 26th July, was attended by 1st Minister of Wales Carwyn Jones, the Deputy Health Minister, along with GP’s, public health and patient groups.

When asked about working with us on such a pivotal project, Dave Blower, Business Manager, Oaktree Surgery said “Bull grasped and embraced the concept from the start. They understood our needs and ran with them.  A simple and straight forward process, Bull has delivered”.

While we work with clients across various industries, we are thrilled that PYB is the latest in a growing list of Healthcare providers now on our books.

Katie Bullon, our Director commented “We’re passionate about healthcare and proud to be working with clients who have a direct impact on the health and well-being of local people. It's an exciting time for the business and I couldn't be prouder given that we set up less than 2 years ago”.

While the new website is now live, work with PYB is not. We are helping PYB to raise awareness; promoting the website via PR, in surgery flyers, signage and purpose placed banners across Bridgend.  Ongoing marketing support will be provided including search engine optimisation (SEO) and content provision.

Future website development discussions are already underway.  Ideas include a symptom checker and patient app to further increase support, access and take-up.
